RoadLites Attends the Truckload Carriers Association Convention TCA in Orlando
Share
RoadLites Founder Angie Twardawa recently attended the Truckload Carriers Association Annual Convention in Orlando, Florida one of the premier gatherings for trucking executives, fleet leaders, and safety professionals across North America.
While RoadLites did not have an official booth this year, our team was still on-site connecting with fleet owners, safety directors, and industry leaders to talk about one of the most important topics in trucking today: trailer visibility and roadway safety.
Why the TCA Conference Matters
The Truckload Carriers Association hosts its annual convention to bring together the leaders of the truckload industry for networking, collaboration, and education.
Each year the event gathers:
-
Fleet executives and owners
-
Safety and compliance leaders
-
Operations and maintenance professionals
-
Technology and equipment innovators
The conference provides a space where the industry can come together to discuss the biggest challenges and opportunities facing trucking today.
For RoadLites, it was the perfect opportunity to have meaningful conversations about how improved trailer lighting and visibility can help prevent crashes and protect drivers on the road.
Connecting With Fleet Leaders and Safety Directors
Even without an exhibit booth, attending the **Truckload Carriers Association Annual Convention allowed the RoadLites team to connect directly with the people responsible for safety across large trucking fleets.
Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to discuss:
-
Trailer visibility challenges fleets face at night
-
Preventing rear-end collisions involving trailers
-
How lighting technology can improve driver awareness
-
The future of trailer safety innovations
These conversations are critical as the industry continues working toward safer highways and improved operational safety standards.
Built by a Trucking Company
One thing that resonated with many people we met is that RoadLites was founded by a trucking company.
That means our products are designed with real-world trucking experience in mind — not just engineering theory.
Our mission is simple:
Make trailers impossible to miss.
RoadLites lighting systems are designed to help drivers recognize the full length and position of trailers earlier, especially in low-light or nighttime driving conditions.
Industry Events Drive Innovation
Events like the **Truckload Carriers Association Annual Convention play a major role in helping the trucking industry evolve.
They allow companies, fleets, and innovators to share ideas, learn from each other, and explore technologies that can improve safety and efficiency across the industry.
For RoadLites, attending events like this helps us stay connected to the people who are actually operating trucks and managing safety programs every day.
Looking Ahead
Our time at the conference reinforced something we strongly believe:
Visibility is one of the most important safety factors on the road.
As RoadLites continues to develop new lighting solutions designed to make trailers more visible, we look forward to collaborating with fleets, safety professionals, and industry partners who share the same commitment to improving highway safety.
If you connected with us at the **Truckload Carriers Association Annual Convention in **Orlando, we truly appreciate the conversations and look forward to continuing them.
And if we missed you — we hope to see you at the next event.
